Fees for three services have been set too high. Thus, you can apply for a partial refund of those fees.
Fees for different services is charged by the Danish Maritime Authority, however, the amount that was charged might have been very high.
Three fees rates have been changed by the Danish Maritime Authority which will be enforced from the 1st of January 2019:
Fee for wreck removal certificate (fees charged in the period 2015-2018)
Reminder fee for overdue payment for ship survey (fees charged in the period 2008-2018)
Reminder fee for overdue payment of annual ship registration fee (fees charged in the period 2013-2018)
In case, any of the above mentioned fees have been paid in the years specified, you can apply for a partial refund of the fee.
The excess amount differs from one year to another.
The partial fee refund can be applied for through virk.dk.

The new fee structure will be put into effect from the 1st of January. The three fees that have been changed are as follows:
Wreck removal certificates DKK 450 (previously DKK 1,250)
Reminder fee regarding survey DKK 94 (previously DKK 250)
Reminder fee regarding annual fee DKK 76 (previously DKK 250)
