iContainers Chosen As Finalist For Global Freight Awards 2018
iContainers has been selected as a finalist for the prestigious Global Freight Awards organized by Maritime Intelligence, a group consisting of Lloyd’s List, which is one of the leading publications in the shipping and logistics industry.
The online freight forwarder is one of just six finalists chosen by an acclaimed panel of judges for the Digital Transformation Award, a new category introduced this year to recognize the impact of digital processes on the freight industry.

The nomination highlights the advances iContainers has made in integrating technology into ocean freight and the digital solution it brings to today’s shippers.

The Global Freight Awards, now in their 22nd year, recognize excellence in the freight forwarding industry and their supplier community. They seek to identify the sector’s leading organizations by rewarding innovative ideas and class-leading projects that have pushed the boundaries of what is possible in the global supply chain.
The 2018 awards’ presentation and dinner, to be held on Thursday 15th November at the Royal Lancaster London hotel, will bring together over 500 freight industry professionals and shippers to see who of the 91 finalist organizations have won an award.
Just last week, iContainers was one of six companies invited to present its digital solution at the Hamburg Innovation Jam conference. The event is part of the three-day Container Trade Europe Conference organized by the Journal of Commerce (JOC) and is aimed at showcasing existing and effective technological solutions as well as highlighting upcoming transformative technology.
