The delivery of Costa Smeralda has been moved from mid-October to mid-November by Meyer Turku. With the new cruise ship LNG propulsion system and the highly sophisticated rooms with stage and also audio/video equipment, the complexity of the ship is too high to create a unique Costastyle passenger experience.
Apart from the unique design, the size of the ship is 180,000 GT which is highly impressive and much larger than the ships built at Turku shipyards recently.
