Viking Line Awards Aecorlink AB To Deliver High-Speed Broadband
AecorLink AB today announced that it has been awarded a communication contract with Viking Line. AecorLink AB provides vessels with high capacity internet. With this agreement, the company is to improve internet connectivity in its vessels.
Fast broadband and internet connectivity is demanded a lot today. With this project coming in, the present and future demand of the ferry operators, guests and crew can be met. High internet connectivity and internet service onboard will attract a lot of conference guests who are the major target customers of Viking Line.
Specto Remote that does the service and installation is AecorLink’s partner. They work together to provide high-speed internet.
Viking Line has already put the new technology into effect on the cruise ferry Viking Grace. It was successful in providing high-speed internet on the route from Stockholm to Turku. After this success, Viking Line is now planning to include the full coverage between Sweden, Finland, and Estonia by integrating the rest of the fleet with the network and expanding the infrastructure.
